Those tall buildings bounce light and throw hard shade. If you add some flurries to the mix, the fleeting nature of your surroundings becomes strikingly apparent. Looking at it, you can feel yourself exhale and enjoy a bit of warmth as you pass through a column of sunlight.

Toronto has the third-largest skyline in North America, and that verticality is relatively accessible. If you’re lucky, your place has a vantage point, where you can watch the light ricochet through the maze. Just don’t forget a warm coat for the gaps between the sunny strips.
